Super Easy Two Ingredient Baked Donuts

Looking for a super easy kid approved recipe that takes less than 30 minutes? Look no further! These two ingredients baked donuts are perfect! The best part is these only take two ingredients for the donuts and a container of frosting if you would like to add glaze to your donuts.

The best part is the there are so many options for flavors to pick for these cake donuts. All you need is one box of cake mix and add in either mashed bananas, applesauce or can of pure pumpkin to the dry cake mix.

And if you decide you want to add a glaze to your cake donut all you need is just one container of store-bought frosting that’s been microwaved for 10 seconds.

So how do we make these super easy donuts?

Take 1 box of cake mix, 1 mix in of your choice and 1 container of frosting. Sprinkles are optional but who wouldn’t want to add sprinkles?!

Here are some of our favorite flavors and mix ins…

  • Chocolate cake mix with pure pumpkin and chocolate frosting.
  • Strawberry cake mix with bananas and strawberry icing.
  • Strawberry cake mix with Bananas and Peach Applesauce with drizzle of white icing.
  • Spice cake mix with pure pumpkin and vanilla icing.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cake mix, any flavor (just the dry mix)
  • 2 cups of your mix in of choice
  • 1 container of frosting, any flavor
  • sprinkles (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly spray donut pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl combine the cake mix with one of the mix in options you chose until well combined. Transfer the batter to a galloon size bag and seal shut. Cut a small hole on one corner at the bottom of the bag and fill each donut ring almost completely full. You can use a piping bag if you have one.
  3. Bake for 7-8 minutes. Donuts will spring back up when touched if they are done. Let donuts cool in pan for 5 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack that’s set over parchment paper.
  4. Heat frosting in a microwave safe bowl for about 10 seconds. Dip one donut at a time into the frosting and then place upright on the cooling rack. If you wish to add sprinkles, then do so immediately after glazing them. All the glaze to set for about 5-10 minutes and then enjoy!

SIMPLE PANCAKE MUFFIN BITES

Need an easy and simple breakfast idea for your kiddos? These pancake muffins from a box mix are a great idea! Not only are they super easy to make but they are a recipe toddlers can easily help you make!

All you need is pancake box mix and a mini muffin tin! Seriously can’t get easier than this recipe!

Add in your favorite toppings – or you can leave them plain. Chocolate chips and sprinkles are favorites at our house.

I just love how quick and easy this breakfast recipe is. It’s a favorite go to when I want a quick breakfast or need an easy on the go breakfast. Sometimes I will even make a double batch to store some in the freezer for when I need a last-minute quick breakfast. Just pop them in the microwave from the freezer to warm them up!

One thing I love about these pancake muffin bites is that they are something kiddos can easily help make! My kiddos love taking turns stirring the batter and adding their favorite toppings!

Ingredients you will need:

  • Pancake mix (I just use kroger store brand box) Follow directions on the mix for making the batter.
  • Toppings (topping ideas: chocolate chips, strawberries, sprinkles or bananas)

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Mix the pancake batter mix (follow directions on box)
  • Pour into a greased or lined mini muffin tin about 3/4 full.
  • Add in toppings
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes

I like to use sugar free dark chocolate chips to keep them somewhat healthier without the extra sugar.

These mini pancake muffin bites always turn our so good! You can also make these for snacks for your kiddos.

We like making these quick pancake bites for a fun and easy breakfast or snack idea!

What toppings would you and your kiddos add to your mini pancake bites?
