THE BREAKDOWN
- Cleanser – Start your morning with a gentle cleanser to begin your day with a clean slate and remove any dirt or debris from sleeping on your pillow. In the evening, I use makeup remover and then my regular cleanser.
- Toner – Toners help balance your skin pH levels. Think of this step as a primer for the rest of your skincare routine.
- Serums – Serums are packed with ingredients to help target specific skin concerns or problems. This is the step where you apply your vitamin c serum, anti-aging serum and hydrating serums. In the evening this is the step where you would apply your exfoliating treatment. This is my go-to vitamin c serum.
4. Spot Treatment – Not everyone uses a spot treatment. This step is where you would use your treatment for acne scars, pimples or dark spots. This is the dark spot treatment I use.
5. Moisturizer and Eye Cream – If you use an eye cream it’s best to apply it before your moisturizer.
A big skincare routine isn’t for everyone. Listen to your skin and apply what works for you.
